Japanese Kobido Full Ritual

A structured Kobido facial sculpting treatment combining deep muscle work, Shiatsu pressure point work, and rhythmic stimulation to lift, decongest, and restore natural radiance. Drawing on traditional Japanese techniques and adapted for modern facial sculpting, it creates a natural, non-invasive lifting effect through precise manual work.

Rooted in centuries-old Japanese tradition, Kobido is renowned for its profound rejuvenating qualities and naturally lifting effect. Its refined choreography of rhythmic percussion, sculpting, vibration, and smoothing techniques stimulates circulation, releases tension, and restores vitality to the face. The alternation between slow, meditative gestures and rapid energising movements creates a deeply transformative experience for both skin and nervous system.

Ideal before events or as part of a long-term facial sculpting practice. Each step is performed without rush, allowing full integration and optimal visible results.

What defines the technique

  • Deep sculpting work. Targeted techniques stimulate facial muscles to lift, define, and release tension linked to sagging and fine lines.
  • Dynamic rhythmic stimulation.  A combination of slow, deep movements and fast, stimulating techniques, including tapping, vibrations, and light percussion.
  • Circulatory activation. Effleurage and drainage techniques that improve micro-circulation, reduce puffiness, and restore a healthy, luminous glow.
  • Shiatsu Pressure Point Work. Specific pressure points on the face, neck, and scalp are activated to encourage relaxation, balance facial tension, and support overall well-being.

How it supports the skin

  • tone and re-educate facial muscles
  • reduce puffiness and stagnation
  • enhance circulation and lymphatic flow
  • improve skin vitality, radiance and natural glow
  • support release of facial tension for a calmer, more relaxed expression

Why it supports healthy aging
Over time, facial muscles weaken, collagen and elastin production slow, and fat redistributes unevenly—often accumulating in the cheeks, chin, and under the eyes. Kobido helps counter these effects by restoring tone, movement, and flow within the tissues.

The experience includes:

1. Purifying & Awaking

Gentle cleansing with botanical tonics to refresh and prepare the skin.

2. Deep release (Head, Neck & Chest)

Tension melts away through slow, grounding massage - essential for lifting the face naturally.

3. Kobido Lifting Technique

Dynamic Japanese massage to stimulate muscles, improve circulation, and visibly sculpt the face.

4. Mask & Pressure Point Therapy

While nourishing mask works on the skin, targeted Shiatsu points restore balance.

5. Sculpt & Drain

Advanced lymphatic drainage to reduce puffiness and refine facial contours.

6. Final Lift & Integration

Finishing movements for the neck, scalp and face to leave you lifted, relaxed, and radiant.

How often should I receive Japanese Kobido facial?
Frequency depends on your goals, age, and how much time you want to dedicate to facial care. Recommended rhythm

  • Ages 25–38: One session per month supports tone and long-term prevention.
  • After 38: For visible rejuvenation, a series of 6–10 sessions works best. These are done closer together at first to re‑educate the muscles and stimulate cell renewal, then spaced out gradually.
  • For simple maintenance, one session per month still offers meaningful benefits, though changes appear more gradually than with an intensive series.

Sculpturing Face Lift Buccal massage

The Sculpturing Face Lift Buccal Massage is an advanced facial treatment that works like a natural facelift — a deep muscle-focused technique that tones, sculpts, and releases long-held tension in the face. It offers a non-invasive alternative to injectables and surgical lifting by restoring definition, balance, and circulation in the deeper facial structures.

How it works

Sculptural Phase

External lifting techniques are applied across the face, neck, and décolleté to release tension, reduce puffiness, and refine facial contours, particularly in the jawline, cheekbones, and eye area. This phase actively reshapes and redefines facial structure, supporting a more lifted jawline, enhanced cheekbone definition, and a brighter, more open eye area by addressing the appearance of soft tissue descent and heaviness in the upper eyelids through improved muscular tone and support.

Buccal Phase (Intra-oral Massage)
“Buccal” refers to the cheek area, and this technique is often described as an “inside-out facial massage.” It is performed intra-orally using sterile gloves to access deep facial muscles that cannot be reached externally, helping to release tension, improve circulation, and gently sculpt the jawline and cheeks.

Key benefits

  • Releases deep tension across the jaw, cheeks, lips, and lower face—areas where stress and overuse often contribute to stiffness, restricted circulation, and associated discomfort such as headaches and sinus pressure.
  • Supports lymphatic drainage and natural detoxification, helping to reduce puffiness, water retention, dullness, and jowl sagging
  • Improves facial contour, definition, and tissue tone by working directly on deep intra-oral muscles that cannot be accessed externally, including the masseter, pterygoids, and inner cheek muscles, helping to rebalance facial structure and release chronic tension patterns
  • Helps ease jaw clenching, TMJ-related tension, and muscular tightness in the lower face
  • Enhances circulation for a fresher, more lifted and energised appearance
  • Softens expression lines associated with long-term muscular stress and habitual facial tension
